Meet Dr. Juanita Baker
Dr. Juanita Baker grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts and attended Boston University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science. In 2023, she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude, among the top of her class, and was inducted into the elite Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. During dental school, Dr. Baker was president of the Hispanic Student Dental Association and completed a mission trip to Poptun, Guatemala, providing much needed dental treatment to members of the community under faculty supervision.
As a National Health Service Corps Scholar, Dr. Baker went on to work at a federally qualified health center for two years after dental school, serving the community of Roxbury, MA. As a general dentist, she provided comprehensive dental treatment to patients in both English and Spanish and gained valuable experience in all areas of dentistry.
Dr. Baker is passionate about caring for her patients and working in tandem with them to achieve their oral health goals. She believes in the power of prevention in dentistry and values the importance of educating patients and empowering them to maximize their oral health.
She maintains memberships in both the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr Baker lives in Marshfield with her husband and her two dogs, Lily and Remy, and loves to spend time with them, especially at the beach. She loves to travel, cook, and read.
